Who is Maigo Mika?

I’m Maigo Mika, a Canadian YouTuber living in rural Japan. I create story-driven videos that introduce an international audience to the charm and character of rural Japan.

My focus is on finding the story first, from its traditions, regional food and crafts to the people and everyday life. Then, I bring those stories to life through immersive videos that make viewers feel like they’re experiencing the place alongside me.
